FEP / PFA Encapsulated O-ring
An encapsulated O-ring is a rubber O-ring that's completely covered by a smooth, seamless layer of FEP or PFA. The plastic coating surrounds and protects the rubber core from liquids, chemicals and other surroundings.
Standard elastomer O-rings can react with chemicals or atmospheric gases, causing them to harden or become brittle. Encapsulated O-rings stop the elastomer core from touching the media, and their strong FEP/PFA coating makes them suitable for many different applications.

Temperature Range
FEP Encapsulation: -60°C to +205°C. Short durations to +260°C.
PFA Encapsulation: -60°C to +260°C. Short durations to +300°C.

Shore A 90–95 | -20°C to +220°C core
Harder, maximum chemical resilience. Best for demanding static sealing in aggressive chemical environments. Silicone (VMQ) Core
Solid: 85–90 Shore A | Hollow: 75–80 Shore A | -60°C to +200°C core
More flexible, superior low-temperature performance. Ideal for food, pharma and cryogenic applications.
